We are the heart of the town of Penetanguishene, offering countless valuable products and services to our shoppers. The mall consists of 95,000 square feet of rented retail, office and commercial space. We are anchored by a 36,000 sq. foot Foodland, and are well supported by other leading tenants such as TD Bank, LCBO, Pharmasave, Home Hardware, Tim Horton’s and Mega Dollar, among others.

 
In order to grow our offerings and provide the citizens of Penetang a complete retail experience, we are continuously pursuing alternative areas of growth. The Village Square Mall is situated in a region that currently has a trading population of 83,640, with well over 100,000 during the summer months. Penetanguishene saw a growth in population from 2001 to 2006 of 12.5%. Next door, Tay Township’s growth rate was 6.4% or 586 people as people decided to permanently move to their recreation properties on Georgian Bay (2006 Census and Simcoe Business Magazine). In addition, over $68,000,000 has been invested in the trading area in construction permits, almost double from the previous two years.
